In late 2010 I had the chance to take photographs for the Red Herring Surf summer catalogue as part of my normal day job (graphic artist at Clemenger Tasmania).
The full project included a studio shoot for a few hundred products (skateboards, surfboards, bags, hats, bathers, sunnies… etc), and more enjoyably a four-day road trip around Tassie to shoot a series of surf/skate lifestyle shots.
A number of Red Herring Surf customers entered a competition in the hope of being featured in the catalogue. Below are some of the winners.
